Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility Costs Tax Credit for 2013

As a Maryland Based Company you may be eligible for tax credits resulting from the construction of a SCIF during 2013. Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility Costs Tax Credit

A business must provide amounts of qualified SCIF(s) costs for between 1/1/2013 and 6/30/2013, and between 7/1/2013 and 12/31/2013 separately. The business may claim a credit of 50% of the costs up to $100,000 for construction or renovation of a single SCIF, and up to $250,000 for multiple SCIFs costs incurred between 1/1/2013 and 6/30/2013. It may also claim an additional credit up to 50% of the costs up to $100,000 for construction or renovation of a single SCIF, and up to $250,000 for multiple SCIFs incurred between 7/1/2013 and 12/31/2013. The total tax credit claimed for SCIF(s) costs may not exceed $200,000 for a single SCIF and $500,000 for multiple SCIFs. For more information go to:
